Service Guarantee

CCS assures the highest degree of quality and accuracy for each converted CAD file. Converted files are checked and rechecked to make sure that all CAD standards were followed and that the document was converted accurately.CCS performs three round of quality assurance (QA) for each converted CAD file. If errors are detected at any level, the file is returned to the original CAD operator for corrections. Once corrections have been made, the file re-enters the Level 1 – Level 4 QA process again. Upon successfully passing each level of QA, the converted CAD file is distributed to the client. The information on the right outlines the CCS QA procedures.

1. On Screen Checks

Pan through entire drawing both with cleaned files on and off. Check over text in the cleaned files which are floor area identification, checking for

  1. Alignment & placement
  2. Consistent heights
  3. Misspellings
  4. Omissions
  5. Try to avoid overwriting other entities

Look for missing or incorrectly drawn geometry, checking for

  1. Trims
  2. Extends
  3. Snap wall joint points

Remove extra geometry

  1. Incorrectly copied or mirrored geometry
  2. Construction lines you may have put in
  3. Stray entities

Check over consistent attributes of entities

  1. Layering
  2. Color
  3. Line type
  4. Text font
  5. Consistent scale entry
  6. Use of the specified blocks from the specs of the project
  7. Make sure the drawing has used client template if provided

Check over consistent attributes of entities:

  1. Line type and LT scale
  2. Text font
  3. Consistent scale entry
  4. Layering
2. Plotting Out Checks

Run plotting for every CAD drawing. Check every text with a red pencil, looking for:

  1. Alignment & placement
  2. Consistent heights and fonts
  3. Text obscured by geometries
  4. Misspellings
  5. Avoid not over lap other entities

Check every geometry with red pencil. Look for:

  1. Missing area space not poly-line added
  2. Missing geometries while cleaning the original CAD
  3. files
  4. Remove Geometries not shown on the original
  5. drawing
  6. Remove construction geometries during drafting
  7. Incorrectly copied or mirrored geometries.
  8. Incorrectly interpreted area poly-lines and not SNAP correctly to the joints point of walls or partitions
3. Final CAD File Checks

Final checks include:

  1. Correct all errors marked on plot drawings.
  2. Purge all excess linetypes, layers, blocks, etc.
  3. Move drawing to (0,0).
  4. Zoom drawing to full screen.
  5. Save drawing to client required CAD version.
  6. Check that file name corresponds to original drawing name or naming convention required by client.
